Project Manager Mortgage Performance & Loan Servicing

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in mortgage performance, loan servicing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will have experience managing technology and business initiatives across the mortgage servicing lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of system enhancements and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end projects involving mortgage servicing, loan performance, payment processing, escrow, delinquency, default, and related mortgage operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, QA, and vendors to define requirements, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage UAT planning and execution, including test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, defect tracking, and business sign-off.
• Coordinate testing activities across business and technology teams and ensure issues are prioritized and resolved within project timelines.
• Analyze mortgage performance and servicing requirements and translate business needs into actionable project deliverables.
• Track project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and budgets, providing regular status reporting to leadership.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, project meetings, UAT walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable mortgage servicing policies, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation, production readiness, release management, and post-production validation.
• Develop project documentation, including requirements, process flows, UAT plans, status reports, RAID logs, and implementation plans.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, preferably within mortgage, banking, or financial services.
• Strong experience with mortgage servicing and loan performance processes.
• Hands-on experience managing or coordinating UAT/testing initiatives.
• Understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, including servicing, payments, escrow, delinquency, loss mitigation, and default.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, SharePoint, or similar project/testing platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms and related integrations.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with business analysts, QA teams, developers, and third-party vendors.
• PMP, CSM, or similar project-management certification.
• Experience with SQL/data validation is a plus.
