Controls Engineer

About the Role

Support Assembly Planning Engineering through equipment design reviews, commissioning, PLC programming, troubleshooting, equipment improvements, and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

·       Review equipment specifications and drawings

·       Support vendor buyoffs and commissioning

·       Install and troubleshoot equipment

·       Program and troubleshoot PLCs

·       Improve equipment quality and productivity

·       Train maintenance personnel

·       Support manufacturing teams

·       Travel to supplier and plant locations

Required Qualifications

·       6+ years PLC programming/troubleshooting

·       4+ years industrial controls experience

·       Technical degree/trade school or equivalent

·       Read electrical/mechanical drawings

·       Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

·       Industrial robots

·       AGVs/AMRs

·       Safety scanners

·       EtherNet/IP, FLNet, ProfiNet

·       Automotive manufacturing

·       Toyota Machinery Standards

·       OSHA 10
