Job Description

Automotive Mechatronics Technician / Automotive Electrician | Berlin, Germany | On-site We are seeking dedicated automotive mechatronics technicians and electricians for vehicle workshops. As a vital part of public transportation for a major European capital, we are committed to innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, ensuring the city's residents and visitors can travel safely and efficiently. The Role • Conduct maintenance and repair work on diesel and electric buses. • Inspect and service installed assemblies, components, and networked electrical vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems. • Repair parts, assemblies, and electrical drives and systems such as heat exchangers, compressors, and alternators. • Perform maintenance on the chassis and bodywork of vehicles. • Carry out modification and retrofitting work on our vehicle fleet. What You'll Need • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an automotive mechatronics technician, automotive electrician, or a comparable qualification with knowledge in automotive technology). • Knowledge of maintenance processes and electronic vehicle systems. • Familiarity with commercial vehicle technology is advantageous but not essential. • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
