SAP BTP Consultant || Remote

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Functional & Technical Consultant to design, develop, integrate, and support SAP Business Technology Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of functional understanding and hands-on technical expertise across SAP BTP services, integration, application development, and enterprise process transformation.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP BTP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement SAP BTP solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Work across both functional and technical aspects of SAP BTP implementations.
Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Design and develop integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, and third-party applications.
Develop and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
Work with APIs, OData, REST, SOAP, event-based integrations, and integration flows.
Develop applications and extensions using SAP BTP Extension Suite and cloud-native technologies.
Work with SAP HANA Cloud, data modeling, SQL, and database services.
Support SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and SAP BTP-based extensions.
Configure and utilize SAP BTP services based on business requirements.
Work with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and workflow capabilities where applicable.
Support identity, authentication, authorization, and security configuration within SAP BTP.
Design solutions using Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma runtime.
Develop and consume APIs using SAP API Management.
Support enterprise integration, data exchange, and application modernization initiatives.
Participate in solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot integration, application, and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Create technical specifications, functional documentation, integration designs, and deployment documentation.
Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and offshore/onshore development teams.
Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.

Required Skills
7+ years of experience in SAP technologies with strong SAP BTP experience.
Strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture and services.
Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC integrations.
Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, APIs, JSON, and XML.
Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SQL.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and BTP application development.
Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma.
Strong understanding of SAP security, authentication, authorization, and identity services.
Experience with API Management and enterprise integration patterns.
Ability to understand business processes and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills
SAP BTP certification.
Experience with SAP Build Process Automation / Workflow Management.
Experience with SAP Event Mesh.
Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
Experience with Node.js and/or Java.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Media, entertainment, or technology industry experience is a plus.

Functional Responsibilities
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for SAP BTP-based solutions.
Conduct requirements gathering and functional workshops.
Prepare functional specifications and process flows.
Translate business requirements into BTP capabilities and technical designs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate proposed solutions.
Support UAT, defect resolution, and production readiness.
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.

Technical Responsibilities
Design and implement BTP integrations and extensions.
Develop CPI integration flows and API-based integrations.
Develop cloud applications using SAP BTP services.
Configure destinations, connectivity, authentication, and security.
Develop and consume REST/OData APIs.
Support HANA Cloud development and data models.
Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization.
Support CI/CD and deployment across development, QA, and production environments.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
SAP BTP certification is preferred.
