An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Product Manager (Data) to join a growing digital consultancy delivering impactful data products and platforms across public and private sector organisations.

This role is ideal for a senior product leader who can combine strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and data expertise to help organisations unlock greater value from their data. You'll work with senior clients, multidisciplinary delivery teams and technical specialists to shape product strategy, guide investment decisions and deliver meaningful outcomes.

• Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for complex data products, platforms and services
• Help clients define product outcomes, priorities and investment decisions
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear product strategies and delivery plans
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to deliver high-value data solutions
• Lead discovery, validation and delivery activities across multiple workstreams
• Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
• Champion data governance, quality and best practices throughout the product lifecycle
• Support business development, bids and client growth opportunities
• Coach, mentor and line manage Product Managers, helping develop capability across the wider team

• Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services
• Strong understanding of data engineering, data architecture and data modelling principles
• Experience working alongside Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts
• Demonstrable success defining product strategy, vision and roadmaps
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Experience influencing senior leaders and driving strategic decisions
• Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks and regulatory considerations
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex environments
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and developing product talent

• Cloud-based data platforms including AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• AI, Machine Learning or advanced analytics products
• Consultancy, government or regulated sector experience
• Experience establishing Data Product Management standards or operating models
• Experience using outcome-based delivery frameworks such as OKRs and KPIs
