Job Description

OUR VISION

When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.

That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Do you want to gain first-hand experience in Order Management and Financial Accounting at an innovative, high-growth technology company?

Your work will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency and a seamless customer experience. To that end, you will support our Order Management processes by overseeing invoicing and cash collection, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. At the same time, you will gain hands-on experience in Financial Accounting by supporting day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring that financial transactions and records are processed accurately and efficiently.

People who are part of the Business team work together with experts from the fields of Finance, Sales, and other business functions. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of operational tasks, work with financial data, and support projects that help our organization scale efficiently.

If you are a fast learner, comfortable working collaboratively, and enjoy the idea of taking ownership, join us on our amazing growth curve!

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will ensure accurate and timely client billing according to German and international standards
  • You will support the collection of customer payments and accurately record them in our systems
  • You will update client accounts based on payment and contact information
  • You will support the Financial Accounting team with day-to-day accounting activities, particularly in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • You will check incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and correct allocation
  • You will assist with account reconciliations and ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date
  • You will assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting-related projects
  • You will support the Order Management and Finance Team with maintaining CRM/ERP data quality by reviewing, updating, and organizing records to ensure accuracy and consistency

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • You are currently enrolled (ideally for another two years) in university and studying Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field
  • You have a strong interest in financial processes and enjoy working with numbers and data
  • Strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills will enable you to handle your day-to-day tasks effectively
  • You are structured, detail-oriented, and have a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and German will enable you to communicate efficiently internally and externally with different stakeholders
  • You are a proactive team player who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks and learning new processes
  • Prior experience in Order-to-Cash, Accounting, Finance, or working with ERP/CRM applications is a big plus

HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH

Your recruiting partner for this role is Lenka (she/her). You can expect to go through a screening call, and up to two rounds of interviews, where we would love to discover your passion and interests, introduce you to who we are and what drives us, and finally understand how we can potentially add value to each other's growth.

HOW WE WILL KEEP YOU SMILING

  • It's important to take a break from work! We offer 20 days of paid time off per year
  • We offer flexible working hours, enabling you to plan your work around your life, and not your life around work!
  • A competitive salary that values the strengths you bring
  • Up to 4000 EUR employee referral bonus
  • As an intern or a working student at NavVis, you will have the chance to be truly involved in projects and gain first-hand experience in a fast-growing company
  • We care deeply about the development of our student employees. Your supervisor will do regular 1:1s & retrospectives to make sure we are constantly getting better at what we do. You will also have the chance to be involved in our 360° developmental feedback aimed at holistic professional development
  • Great potential for internal growth and exploring wider opportunities within NavVis
