Senior SAP Integration Architect – SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Migration

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Integration Architect to lead a large-scale SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) migration for a major enterprise organization.

This is a hands-on Lead Architect role responsible for defining the migration strategy, partnering with business and technical stakeholders, mentoring development teams, and driving the overall integration architecture and delivery approach.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading end-to-end SAP integration transformations and a strong background in modern SAP integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and execution of SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) migration initiatives.
• Define migration strategy, integration standards, architecture principles, and technical roadmaps.
• Perform interface assessments and guide design decisions throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore/onshore resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead architecture reviews, provide technical direction, and mentor SAP integration developers.
• Own integration architecture from initial assessment through deployment and post-production hypercare.
• Remain hands-on with technical solutions while providing architectural leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP Integration experience.
• Strong expertise with SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration/CPI).
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Connector, and modern integration patterns.
• Proven experience leading SAP integration architecture initiatives, not solely development or technical lead responsibilities.
• Strong experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead distributed onshore/offshore teams while remaining technically engaged.

Must Have Experience

• Multiple successful SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) migration projects.
• Experience serving as an Integration Architect across multiple enterprise SAP programs.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA integration experience.
• Experience defining migration strategies, conducting interface assessments, establishing development standards, and leading design reviews.
• Experience owning SAP integration architecture from planning through implementation and stabilization.
• Ability to make key technical decisions while guiding and mentoring development teams.

Nice to Have

• Utility industry experience.
• Experience integrating SAP cloud solutions such as:
  • SAP SuccessFactors
  • SAP Ariba
  • SAP Concur
  • Salesforce integrations
  • Other SAP cloud applications
• Experience with the SAP Integration Migration Assessment Tool.
