Job Description

Job Title: Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Architect
Location: Remote 
Experience Required: 10+ 
 
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Architect with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (GWPC) and Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solution architecture, development, cloud-native deployments, and Guidewire integrations within the commercial insurance domain.
 
Required Skills

    • Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) implementations
    • GW Configuration

    • JPD (Java Product Definition)
    • APD (Advanced Product Designer)
  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture and hands-on development.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, messaging frameworks)
    • Cloud-native architecture and deployment models
  • Experience in Insurance domain (P&C preferred).
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-visibility programs with minimal ramp-up.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for GW PolicyCenter on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
  • Drive design and implementation across:
    • GWPC Configuration
    • Integrations (APIs, messaging, external systems)
    • JPD (Java Product Definition)
    • APD (Advanced Product Designer)
  • Provide hands-on development and technical leadership to delivery teams.
  • Define and enforce best practices, design standards, and coding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of GWCP implementations.
  • Support release planning, deployment, and CI/CD processes in cloud environments.
  • Provide guidance on data model, product model, and integration architecture.
  • Act as a technical SME for GWPC Cloud adoption and migration strategies.
