Production Assistant

Kingsway, Dundee Full Time | Permanent

Help Produce Some of Scotland's Most Iconic Publications

At DC Thomson, our Kingsway print site is where some of the UK's best-known and most-loved publications come to life, including The Beano, The Courier, The Press & Journal and many more.

We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our busy Production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play an important part in keeping our operation running smoothly, ensuring equipment is maintained to high standards and ready for continuous production.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of our production operation by:

  • Deep cleaning production equipment in line with planned maintenance schedules
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout production areas
  • Carrying out pre-production checks to ensure equipment is ready for operation
  • Monitoring consumable stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Supporting Production and Engineering teams when required
  • Following all health, safety and operational procedures
  • Taking ownership of your work and contributing to a safe, efficient and productive environment
