Job Description

Role: Network Security L3 Engineer

Certifications:
CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto / Aruba / Zscaler Certifications

Tools: Zscaler

o ZIA (Proxy)
o ZPA (Zero Trust Access)

Firewall Management

o Panorama (Palo Alto)


WAF / DDOS / NDR

o WAF, DDOS, NDR part of scope (tool specifics depend on environment)


Roles & Responsibilities

· Handle advanced ticketing for network security incidents
· Implement high-priority change requests and advanced service requests
· Provide technical support for customer network design and new business queries
· Provide inputs to customer teams on technology recommendations and transformation initiatives
· Analyze RCA for major incidents and recurring issues to drive resolution
· Perform capacity and performance management across network and security infrastructure
· Work with OEM vendors for software patching, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives
· Lead execution of technology refresh implementation across network security landscape
· Drive operational excellence and continuous service improvement initiatives
· Enable automation and AIOps adoption in collaboration with L2 teams

Technical Skills / Competencies

· Strong hands-on experience in network security operations
· Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, VPN, and network access control
· Experience with Palo Alto, Aruba, Zscaler or similar technologies
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex issues
· Experience in incident, problem, and change management
· Understanding of capacity planning and performance tuning
· Experience working with OEM vendors and third-party providers
· Exposure to automation and AIOps tools
