ResponsibilitiesThe Project Resource Fulfilment Manager will manage the day to day coordination of ICT technical and project management resources across project delivery activities. The role ensures workloads are sustainable, transparent, and aligned with agreed priorities through ongoing monitoring and reporting of project work, including financial costing and analysis of project activities. The Manager works closely with stakeholders to agree on priorities and assign project tasks to technical teams throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle.
The role collaborates with Subject Matter Expert (SME) team leads and Strategic Business Project and Program Managers/Project Managers and works closely with technical and Operations teams to ensure priorities are aligned across both project and Business-as-Usual (BAU) work. It also provides resource fulfilment forecasts based on major program and project resource requests, ensuring forward visibility of demand and capacity. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for onboarding and training Project Managers to follow established processes for resource forecasting and planning. Under broad direction, this role leads capacity management and project support services, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, strategic initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
QualificationsWe're looking for a proactive leader with strong project delivery and quality assurance expertise in areas such as COTS implementation, ICT infrastructure, software development, or business improvement. Ideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, ScrumMaster) and demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills.
Eligibility / Other Requirements- Tertiary level qualifications and/or certification in Project Management and Program Management are highly desirable. These include one or more of: Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation.

This position is based at a workplace designed for activity based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. The occupant of the role is expected to work in the Gungahlin office a minimum of 2 days per week. The ACTPS also provides a range of flexible working provisions, including hybrid work arrangements primarily based in the Gungahlin office (Winyu House), customer sites, and/or home.
