Are you a Technical Manager from a food manufacturing background looking for an opportunity to further progress your career within a market-leading food manufacturer, where you can develop strong working relationships and lead a technical team while driving improvement.

On offer is this fantastic opportunity to step up into a management role where you will take control of a key technical function, managing a team while supporting the implementation of technical strategy, food safety and quality culture plan.

This company is a well-established food manufacturer, producing premium British products, offering a great working environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your team, contribute to succession planning, work closely with customers and senior stakeholders

You will be responsible for leading the technical function, overseeing specifications, customer requirements, and the technical side of product launches from concept through to launch. You will also manage technical KPIs, support continuous improvement projects and develop a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.

This role would suit a Technical Manager looking for greater responsibility, leadership opportunities and a long-term career within a well-established manufacturer.

The role:

• Manage and develop the team, supporting succession planning and ongoing development
• Develop strong working relationships with service providers, suppliers and customers
• Produce KPI reports
• Technical management of Launch process
• Monday-Friday position with training, progression and excellent company benefits

The candidate:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role
• Relevant IT skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Food-related BSc qualification or industry experience
