Key Responsibilities

• Windows Server Administration: Manage and optimize hybrid on-premises and cloud Windows Server environments.

• System Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform OS upgrades, testing, and regular patching to ensure security and reliability.

• Automation: Write PowerShell scripts to automate centralized and repetitive tasks.

• Server Migrations: Lead the migration of workloads from on-premises systems to cloud platforms.

• Security & Compliance: Configure server security, enforce endpoint protection, and handle vulnerability remediation.

• Patch Management: Use SCCM and similar platforms for automated patch deployment and reporting.

• Monitoring & Support: Monitor infrastructure services proactively and provide advanced support for enterprise applications (.NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Dynamics).

• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee backup operations and develop recovery strategies to minimize downtime.

• Networking: Apply OSI model knowledge and networking protocols to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.

• Collaboration & Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams and the IT Portfolio Manager, ensuring strong English communication.
