Engineering Intern

About the Role

This is a hands-on engineering internship at a Series B EdTech startup, where you'll contribute to a real AI-powered learning platform used by tens of millions of students worldwide. You'll work side-by-side with experienced engineers across both frontend and backend, shipping features that directly impact how students learn.

What You'll Do

• Build and iterate on real product features across the full stack in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Contribute to frontend development using Flutter and Riverpod.

• Work on backend services built with Golang and PostgreSQL.

• Engage with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with engineers on integrating and improving LLM-powered features.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong programming fundamentals across both backend and frontend development.

• Familiarity or willingness to learn the stack: Flutter, Golang, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, dbt, and/or BigQuery.

• Fluent English; German is a bonus.

• Authorized to work in Germany or the United Kingdom — no visa sponsorship is available.

• Able to work on-site in Berlin, Germany or London, United Kingdom.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: €48,000 annually. No visa sponsorship available.

On-site in Berlin, Germany (or London, United Kingdom). Remote work is not available for this role.
