Lead Application Security Engineer – AI

Introduction:

This position is for a Lead Application Security Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of AI applications and implementing security measures throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and a strong background in application security.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement security controls for AI applications
• Conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews
• Perform security testing, including SAST, SCA, DAST, and penetration testing
• Develop security strategies and lead security initiatives
• Design AI-driven security automation capabilities
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Work in highly regulated environments, such as financial services

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 9+ years of Application Security or Information Security Engineering experience
• Expertise in SSDLC controls, threat modeling, and secure design
• Experience securing GenAI and LLM-based applications
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD security integration
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with adversarial testing and prompt-injection defenses
• Experience designing AI-driven security automation or decisioning capabilities
