Job Description

Title: Technical Test Lead- Python/ Pyspark
Location: Irvine, CA 100%-Onsite
Duration: 6+ months

As a Test Lead- Python/ Pyspark, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert for critical Capital Market Business workflow working with Business team. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irvine, California or be willing to relocate to the area. This position is for Irvine, California
  • 8-10 years of experience delivering Digital Assurance, Test Automation
  • Proven expertise in designing enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, Pandas
  • Designed and implemented enterprise Pytest automation frameworks for financial clients, reducing manual effort and improving execution efficiency.
  • Automated ETL, API, Data Contract, and Database validation processes using Python and Pandas.
  • Developed automated reporting dashboards providing real-time execution insights & quality metrics.
  • Led offshore quality engineering activities while collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, and Business stakeholders
  • Must be Proficient in Agile methodology and experience with Jira, designing Testcases, Test Execution as well as experience documenting software defects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading testing teams taking complete ownership of deliverables
  • Experience in Test Deliveries in an onsite offshore model
  • Experience in creating Integration Test Strategy and Test Plan
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and liaison with business teams to support UAT testing
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Java, Python, and API automation, with strong focus on CI/CD integration and test optimization
Built UI automation solutions using Selenium and Playwright with BDD (Cucumber) framework
Experience with using AWS Cloud services- Athena, S3, CloudWatch, EMR, AWS CLI etc., API Testing using Postman/Swagger
At least 5 years of experience in testing (SIT and UAT), test execution analysis & reporting
At least 5 years of experience in using Cloud Technologies- AWS, API testing using Postman
Experienced in working with multiple Data bases such Cloud Athena, Dremio, Oracle, Pgadmin
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Abilities in Test Strategizing, planning and co-ordination
Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements
Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills
