Job Description
Job Summary: Planview Project & Portfolio Management (PPM/SPM) Developer/Consultant
- Develop and configure Planview SPM modules including Portfolios, Roadmaps, Outcomes, and OKRs
- Integrate Planview with enterprise systems (Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs
- Design and implement REST API integrations and automation scripts (JavaScript, Python)
- Build custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Planview reporting tools, Power BI, and Report Builder
- Automate workflows, notifications, and data synchronization using tools like UI Path and Power Automate
- Support data migration, cleansing, and transformation activities between Planview and other enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Planview configuration and performance
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, integrations, workflows, and reporting structures
- Implement and administer Planview and CA PPM functional modules (Project, Portfolio, Resource, Time Sheet, Financial, Demand Management)
- Set up and manage Time Periods, Resources, Project Financials, User Security, Jobs, Processes, Jasper soft Report scheduling, and Financial setup in Planview/CA PPM
- Design and maintain data models, schemas, and reporting frameworks using SQL and related technologies
- Support process documentation and change management initiatives
- Ensure end-to-end Planview portfolio implementation and configuration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless solution delivery
- Preferred: Planview Certified Developer or Architect
- Required experience: 4-6 years with Planview PPM/SPM (including 2-3 years in functional modules)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Planview architecture, modules, and integrations
- Strong SQL and reporting skills (Power BI, Report Builder)
- Proficient in REST/SOAP Web Services, data modeling, and automation tools (UI Path, Power Automate)
- Prior Planview implementation experience is mandatory
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Jasper Soft Reports, CA PPM Studio, and Agile Place within Planview
- Understanding of Planview PPM and CA PPM Administration
