Data Modeler (W2 Only)

About the Role:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler to design and maintain enterprise data models for highly transactional financial systems. You will collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance data models that support critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop enterprise, canonical, normalized, and dimensional (Star/Snowflake) data models.
• Work with application architects and development teams to design scalable database solutions.
• Support OLTP database design and data architecture initiatives.
• Ensure data models align with business requirements, data governance, and enterprise standards.
• Collaborate on policy administration and financial application data models.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of Data Modeling or Data Architecture experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL in OLTP environments.
• Hands-on experience with Erwin, SAP PowerDesigner, Hackolade, or similar data modeling tools.
• Expertise in Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Normalized, and Enterprise/Canonical Data Models.
• Experience with Policy Administration Systems (OIPA preferred, or Guidewire/Duck Creek).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
