The Company:

Our client is an established wealth management company, highly recognised with a fantastic reputation.

The Role:

THIS ROLE IS A 12 MONTH FTC WITH THE POTENTIAL TO BE CONVERTED TO PERMANENT

The Data Analyst supports the Business Development team by providing Business Performance Data insights relating to the growth and performance of the Investment Management firm.

The Data Analyst will bring together data from internal systems and external investment platforms, produces reliable reporting and enables informed business decision-making. It requires strong attention to detail, the ability to investigate discrepancies and the confidence to explain findings clearly.

The Data Analyst collaborates closely with other departments like Finance and Sales teams to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

The Data Analyst will produce monthly reporting on Assets Under Management and investment flows. Collect data from different investment platforms, standardise and check for accuracy and provide consolidated figures to the Business Development and Finance reporting teams.

The Data Analyst will build and maintain data dashboards to provide ongoing AUM and flow data to Business Development and Investment Managers. Analyse results by client firm, investment service and platform; explaining trends and investigate discrepancies. Maintain accurate records for Business Development Directors as firm relationships change.

The Data Analyst will prepare regular data submissions for external research and industry organisations. Reconcile payments received from investment platforms against invoices and financial records. Answer data questions from colleagues and help improve the quality, documentation and efficiency of recurring reports.

The Candidate

Data Analyst experience within a Financial Services, ideally an Investment Management firm – tracking company performance and client revenue.

Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with experience in consolidating, validating and interpreting data from multiple sources.

The ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.

Experience in wealth management, investment platforms or model portfolio services would be advantageous.

Experience with Power Query, Power BI - essential
