Job Description

Service Engineer| £47,000+ OTE | Company Van | Ongoing Training | Overtime Available

Are you an experienced Service Engineer looking for a role with a reputable company where your skills are valued and rewarded?

My client is looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced engineer to support servicing, maintenance and repairs across construction plant machinery. The role:

  • Carry out routine servicing and planned maintenance on construction plant machinery
  • Diagnose and fault-find across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and support warranty work where required
  • Manage your own workload and schedule effectively
  • Represent the business professionally both on-site and within workshop environments

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working on construction plant or similar machinery such as agricultural equipment, forklifts, lifting equipment or heavy vehicles
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
