Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst II to support enterprise technology and data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering business requirements, working in Agile environments, documenting business processes, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, themes, and epics.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, development, and QA teams.
• Convert business requirements and use cases into Agile artifacts using Jira.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile project delivery.
• Analyze business processes and recommend operational improvements.
• Develop process maps, workflow documentation, and functional specifications.
• Assist with story point estimation and project planning activities.
• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software development or technology projects.
• 4+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with requirements gathering, business analysis, and SDLC.
• Strong experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, themes, and epics.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.
• Business process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Use case development and documentation.
• Data governance or process improvement experience.
