The Opportunity
We're looking for an Insight Analyst to join a growing Intelligent Data team, delivering high-quality analytical insight for clients across the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.
This is a hands-on role combining core insight work with opportunities to apply data science. You'll work on projects ranging from audits, campaign analysis and segmentation through to propensity modelling, lifetime value forecasting and attribution.
You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients, shape analytical approaches, develop new tools and solutions, and turn complex data into clear recommendations that drive action.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and performance tuning across large datasets.
- At least two years' experience using Python or R to solve client or business problems.
- Understanding of at least one data science technique relevant to fundraising, such as propensity modelling, lifetime value or segmentation-led forecasting.
- Experience managing the analytical relationship for a small portfolio of client accounts.
- Confidence designing an analytical approach independently, without requiring senior sign-off for every brief.
- The ability to interpret analytical output and communicate recommendations that clients can act on.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting findings to clients.
- A structured approach to unfamiliar analytical problems, with the ability to develop and justify an appropriate solution.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage a varied insight and data science workload independently.
What You Can Expect
You'll join a collaborative, data-focused environment where analytical thinking, curiosity and practical problem-solving are valued. The role offers scope to develop your technical expertise while also building your client-facing and commercial skills.
You'll work on varied projects, have genuine ownership of your analysis and be encouraged to contribute ideas that improve both client outcomes and the way the team works.
