Job Description

MECCA's Facilities team plays a vital role in creating safe, functional and beautifully maintained spaces that enable our teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day. We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Facilities Coordinator to support the maintenance of our store network across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for store teams and contractors, coordinating both reactive and planned maintenance while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to keep our stores operating at their best.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate planned preventative maintenance programs and reactive maintenance requests across the AU & NZ store network.
  • Manage maintenance tickets from end to end, partnering with contractors, landlords and shopping centres to achieve service level agreements.
  • Communicate maintenance activities with store teams and provide timely updates throughout the repair process.
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, contractor reports and maintenance data across systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance contractor performance, maintenance processes and the overall store experience.
Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities, retail operations, customer service or a similar operational support role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work calmly under pressure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across internal teams and external contractors.
  • High attention to detail, a proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with maintenance management systems or service ticket platforms (such as Jira) is advantageous.
