Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Applications Developer to join our team in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust applications to meet business needs. This is a contract position requiring a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications to support business processes and objectives.
• Ensure the overall architecture of applications is integrated and optimized for performance and scalability.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications, addressing user needs and resolving any issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to enhance application performance and functionality.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and development processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in application development or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with database management systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and integration with applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for delivering high-quality applications and excellent end-user experiences.

Pay Range: $60 - $75/hour
