They are seeking a skilled technician to play a vital role in building and modernizing substations. The Role • Oversee the commissioning of medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations up to 380kV. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems. • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers (Siemens, Schneider, ABB). • Conduct precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment. • Collaborate with project management, planning, and assembly teams to ensure project success. • Contribute directly to green energy projects, including wind and solar parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven experience with protection/control technology and commissioning of switchgear. • Familiarity with communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Proficiency with parameterization software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM S1) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse) is a plus. • Strong team player with excellent decision-making and communication skills, including advanced German proficiency. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel within Northeast Germany (typically Monday-Thursday).
