Data Engineer / Analytics Migration / BigQuery

A remote marketing and data analytics firm is hiring an Analytics Migration Engineer to support a large-scale cloud transformation initiative on a contract-to-hire basis. This role focuses on migrating legacy analytical environments into Google Cloud Platform, with a strong emphasis on BigQuery, data validation, and modern analytics tooling. Required Skills & Experience

• BS or MS in Engineering or Analytics field
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience
• Strong experience with BigQuery
• Experience with SAS, SQL and Python in analytics environments
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience migrating SAS and Excel environments to cloud platforms
• Exposure to Vertex AI or other ML deployment tools
• Familiarity with Airflow or Cloud Composer
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for analytics
• Background optimizing queries and workflows for performance at scale
