Design Technologist Marketing

RESPONSIBILITIES

A client with Kforce is seeking a Design Technologist, Marketing to join their team in Oakland, CA.

Summary

The Design Technologist Marketing will build net-new interactive member experiences in our Experience Builder platform - games, polls, trivia, quizzes, and other engagement-driving formats - using AI tooling to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and production. They will turn concepts into live on-brand experiences that increase member engagement and monthly active members.

Responsibilities

• Prototype fast: Use AI-assisted workflows to go from concept to working interactive experience quickly
• Build in Experience Builder (Internal landing page creation tool that leverages the Containers ecosystem): Author and launch games, polls, trivia, and other interactive modules within our existing platform and design system
• Partner on engagement analysis: Design experience formats that drive clicks, completion, and repeat engagement
• Iterate on data: Work with the team to A/B test formats and refine based on performance
• Ensure production-quality: Deliver experiences that meet our brand, accessibility, and QA standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on experience building interactive web experiences (games, quizzes, interactive content) - front-end fluency (HTML/CSS/JS; React a plus)
• Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate build and prototyping
• Comfort working inside an existing platform/design system rather than a greenfield
• A portfolio of interactive or gamified experiences
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, using feedback loops to iterate quickly and navigate uncertainty with minimal oversight
• Experience in content design, content strategy, or related field
• Deep knowledge of design principles and methods
• Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
• Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
