UI/UX Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer - Contractor to provide subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Will build cutting-edge user interfaces for customer-facing web applications, built responsively to run on screens of all sizes, from desktops to mobile phone
2. This role requires collaboration with user experience designers and back-end developers to create and enhance the visual layer of high-volume, large-scale web applications
3. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Angular (Angular 15+ version), and also be an expert in coding HTML and CSS in a way that follows web standards

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5+ years working with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)
2. Expertise in rendering page designs (wireframes / visual designs) into code
3. Familiarity with responsive web design principles and understanding a mobile-first approach
4. Experience building custom user interface components in a reusable manner
5. Knowledge of web standards, progressive enhancement, and accessibility concerns
6. Familiarity working with JavaScript single-page applications or other large web applications
7. Debugging code across different browsers and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
