Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Core Java & Frameworks: Deep experience with Java 8 / 11 / 17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.

• BPM Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring Flowable Engine, Flowable Modeler, and Flowable REST APIs.

• Databases: Strong proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Messaging & Integration: Experience with event-driven architectures using platforms like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.

• DevOps & Cloud: Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Workflow Design & Modeling: Design and implement end-to-end executable workflows using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation). [1]

• Business Rules & Case Management: Develop and maintain declarative business rules using DMN (Decision Model and Notation) and case-driven architectures with CMMN. [1]

• Backend Customization: Write custom Java delegate expressions, task listeners, and backend services to extend the out-of-the-box functionality of the Flowable engine. [1]

• API Development: Build and integrate secure RESTful APIs and microservices to connect the Flowable engine with databases and legacy enterprise systems. [1]

• UI & Interaction: Create Flowable task forms, user interaction layers, and customized chat-driven workflows (e.g., using Flowable Engage). [1, 2]

• Performance Tuning: Configure process engines, manage state machine execution, and conduct performance tuning on database queries and process tables
