About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineering Technician to support component and system-level testing activities within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to execute test plans, analyze data, maintain test equipment, and ensure accurate documentation of test results. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically skilled, and passionate about supporting product development and validation efforts.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and testing support to engineering teams across a variety of projects and initiatives.

Execute component-level and system-level test plans, procedures, and test events in accordance with established requirements.

Participate in test planning activities, readiness reviews, and post-test evaluations.

Analyze measurement requirements and verify equipment capabilities and tolerances.

Develop, document, and maintain best practices for test processes, methodologies, and equipment usage.

Support the maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of test equipment and infrastructure.

Collect, compile, organize, and maintain technical data, including test results, engineering updates, and configuration changes.

Perform tests and accurately record data to support engineering investigations, analysis, and product validation.

Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including test procedures, reports, and work instructions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to support testing and operational requirements.

Troubleshoot test-related issues and provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.

Analyze test data and generate reports tailored to customer and project requirements.

Support operations across multiple shifts as business needs require.

Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of experience as a technician in an engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or related technical environment.

Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Experience using Microsoft Office applications and maintaining process or technical documentation.

Experience working in cleanroom environments, laboratory settings, or environmental test areas.

Ability to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts when required.

Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.

Ability to safely lift, move, or manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace Technology, or a related field.

Experience supporting complex electromechanical, aerospace, satellite, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing systems.

Experience handling sensitive or precision hardware in a controlled environment.

Familiarity with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and engineering analysis tools.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
