HGV1 NIGHT TRUNK DRIVER

£34,000 - £37,000 DOE Thame Permanent, Full-Time Position

We're looking for an experienced

HGV Class 1 Night Driver

to join a busy and growing transport operation in Thame.

This role involves overnight trunking t where your vehicle will be unloaded and reloaded before returning to site.

You'll generally run the same route each night to the same hub, providing consistency and routine.

The Role

✅ Night trunking.

✅ Collecting and delivering palletised freight

✅ Generally the same route and destination each shift

✅ Most loading/unloading completed by forklift trucks

✅ Occasional use of an electric pallet truck

✅ Completing vehicle checks and transport paperwork

✅ Representing the business professionally at all times

Requirements

HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience Comfortable working night shifts Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous night driving experience preferred

Hours Monday to Friday 45 hours per week Nights 1-hour break included
