Job Description

Job Title: Lead Business Systems Analyst (Lead BSA)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Virtual + Onsite)

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Chief Product Owner to define and prioritize product requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
  • Create and manage product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Client Services, Product Management, and IT teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Drive Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives from requirements through implementation.
  • Perform business process analysis, gap analysis, and recommend process improvements.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development and QA teams.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production deployments.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience.
  • Strong experience in Legal and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
  • Experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with Legal, Compliance, Client Services, and IT stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience with iCertis, Luminance, or other CLM platforms.
  • Product Owner or Product Management experience.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, UAT, and business process modeling.
