Job Description

Essential:

  • Design, develop, and maintain event-driven architectures using Java and Apache Kafka.
  • Build high-throughput, low-latency Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Kafka topics, partitions, replication, and retention policies.
  • Ensure all streaming solutions meet stringent government security, data privacy, and accessibility standards.
  • Implement robust integration patterns connecting Legacy systems to modern cloud-native platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, write testable code, and mentor junior developers in streaming best practices.
  • Government background is highly preferred.
