Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer - Contract 6 Months | Outside IR35 | Remote (occasional travel) | SC Preferred / BPSS Minimum We're looking for a Platform Engineer with strong public sector experience to help build and improve a modern Developer Experience (DevEx) capability. Key skills:

Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, including building and supporting reusable CI/CD components<br />Hands-on Kubernetes experience (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)<br />Proven background designing and operating cloud-native platforms<br />Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps best practices<br />Experience improving Developer Experience through platform tooling and self-service capabilities<br />Exposure to Internal Developer Portals (e.g.

Backstage)<br />Strong Bash scripting and testing experienceYou'll help drive engineering enablement across CI/CD, Internal Developer Portals, templating, and platform automation, making it easier for development teams to build and deliver at pace.
