The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain clear communication with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.
• Uphold a safe work environment by adhering to all established safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist in organizing and stacking containers within the intermodal yard.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role.
• Previous experience with heavy equipment operation in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with open availability.
