Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Were recruiting for an established FMCG manufacturing business east of Glasgow looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team.

Its a busy, fast-paced production environment, so youll be working across a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance, keeping machinery running, responding to breakdowns and helping improve reliability across the site.

• Planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding

• Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns quickly

• Working with motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, pumps and associated equipment

• Supporting PPM schedules and reducing repeat failures

• Identifying reliability and continuous improvement opportunities

• Working closely with production to minimise downtime

• Maintaining high standards of health & safety

Youll ideally be a time-served / qualified Maintenance Engineer with experience in an FMCG, food, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced production environment.

You should be comfortable working across both electrical and mechanical systems, although engineers with a stronger bias in either discipline will still be considered.

Most importantly, youll be someone who can fault-find properly rather than just replace parts until the machine starts working again. You should be time-served in a relevant engineering discipline.
