Position Overview

Job Title:Senior SAP Basis Administrator
Number of Openings: 5
Minimum Experience: 10+ years

• Every resource must have 10+ years of senior-level SAP Basis experience.
• Each candidate must meet the minimum experience requirement independently.
• The team should collectively cover the complete SAP Basis, database, infrastructure, OpenText, DR, and SAP platform requirements.
• Candidates must be comfortable with on-call support and monthly 12-hour weekend maintenance events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide performance, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and availability support for:
  • SAP applications
  • OpenText applications
  • SAP HANA databases
  • Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Support 24x7 SAP environment availability.
• Install, upgrade, patch, and maintain:
  • SAP applications
  • SAP add-ons
  • SAP plug-ins
  • Vendor components
  • SAP HANA platforms
  • Microsoft SQL Server platforms
• Perform database administration, including:
  • Backup and recovery
  • General database administration
  • Security-policy compliance
• Perform SAP Transport Management System (TMS) administration and transport processing.
• Perform system and client refreshes.
• Conduct performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation.
• Assist with interface and system integration activities.
• Support SAP printing infrastructure.
• Provide front-end and end-user technical support.
• Analyze cloud, server, operating system, disk, and network requirements for SAP applications and database platforms.
• Represent the ERP Basis Team in project activities.
• Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities.
