The Role

• Generate 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks.
• Apply best practices in modeling, dimensioning, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Produce clear, manufacturable fabrication drawings and bills of material.
• Support senior engineers with design revisions and redlines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate design file management within PDM or similar systems.

What You'll Need

• Associate degree in mechanical design/drafting, or BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of CAD experience with demonstrated SolidWorks proficiency.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (welding, machining, sheet metal).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and collaborate effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
