Job Description

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Project Manager to join a growing energy solutions business based in Glasgow.

This isn't a role where you'll be one of dozens of project managers in a large corporate structure. Our client is a focused, ambitious business in the energy and building services sector - offering genuine ownership of projects, direct contact with stakeholders and real influence over how the business grows.

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the full project lifecycle from planning and coordination through to delivery and handover
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, milestones and reporting throughout
  • Procuring materials and subcontractors to meet project and budget targets
  • Overseeing contractor and vendor performance and facilitating inspections and compliance checks
  • Coordinating logistics and driving team collaboration to meet quality, time and budget requirements
  • Supporting the sales team with site surveys where required

To be considered as a Project Manager, you will need:

  • An HNC in Building Services or equivalent is essential
  • A minimum of 5 years project management experience within M&E, energy or building services
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services and BMS controls and strategies
  • Proven experience in procurement, subcontractor management and budget control
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to deliver under pressure
