• SW Engineering & Application Development experience and expertise in following areas 

  • Java 21 and Spring Boot

  o   Spring Cloud Stream for continuously running Kafka Data Streaming services

  o   Spring Batch for nightly and on-demand jobs

  o   Maven for building and dependency management

  o   Spring Retry, JDBC, caching, and Actuator health endpoints 

  • Kafka and CDC processing

  o   AWS MSK and Kafka consumer/producer troubleshooting

  o   AWS DMS CDC JSON messages

  o   Understanding insert, update, and delete before/after images

  o   Consumer groups, offsets, partitions, ordering, retries, duplicates, lag, and replay

  o   Lightweight balance-change events and full balance/error payloads 

  • Database and SQL

  o   Aurora PostgreSQL 

  o   Oracle SQL  

  o   JDBC and transaction troubleshooting

  • AWS operations

  o   AWS MSK, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, EC2/ECS, AWS Batch, Event Bridge, ElasticCache/Redis, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI

  o   Starting, stopping, and validating streaming services and scheduled batch jobs

  o   Coordinating Kafka resets, cache resets, database refreshes, and controlled service restarts 

  • CI/CD and development tooling

  o   GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, SonarQube, IntelliJ or VS Code, Git, and Maven

  o   Reading application profiles, environment variables, SSM configuration, deployment templates, and logs
