Job Description

Senior UX Writer (Maternity Cover) - 6-Month Fixed Term Contract - London

DICE is a ticketing platform on a mission to get people out more. We give fans incredible live shows, upfront pricing every time, and tickets in a few taps.

We’re looking for a UX writer to help create great experiences across our fan-facing and partner-facing tools. This is a 6-month maternity cover, starting late August.

You’ll join a motivated, talented team of product designers, our localisation lead, and another senior UX writer.

More about what you'll do:

  • Write clear, concise copy across app, web, emails, and notifications for our fan-facing and partner-facing tools.
  • Help make finding shows, buying tickets, and getting to the show feel effortless and fun for fans.

  • Make building, managing, and analysing events on MIO a simple and delightful experience for partners.

  • Write the occasional product mailer, CRM campaign, email, and help centre article.

  • Inform UX decisions and design strategy from the beginning. We can promise you’ll never be brought in at the end to ‘add the copy’ – you’ll be working on the experience, hand in hand with designers, from the start.
  • Work closely with lots of people across disciplines – designers, product managers, developers, data analysts, our localisation lead, customer support teams, and more.

  • Present your work and ideas, clearly explaining the reasoning behind your decisions. This might be to peers, stakeholders, or business leaders. You’ll always have support doing this if you need it.

Useful experience and skills for this role would be:

  • Content design for app and web (B2B and/or B2C).
  • Comfortable in Figma, the design tool we use.

  • Writing in a particular brand voice, flexing that voice for different contexts.

  • Working in a fast-paced, fluid environment and across multiple teams.

  • Presenting and defending writing and design.

Diversity, equity and inclusion at DICE

We know that having a variety of perspectives makes us a better company – it’s why we strongly encourage members of underrepresented communities to apply. We aim to foster a culture where everyone feels that they belong, where our voices are heard and where we feel supported to be our authentic selves. See how we're creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive DICE.

Application process

Our process usually involves a quick chat on the phone, a content design task, and an interview or two where you’ll meet the people you’ll work with. We’ll keep you fully informed along the way.
