Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a mechanical engineer for Land and Air Systems, you'll be a member or lead of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of Navigation, Communications and Control systems.

USD $142,696.00 - USD $158,303.00 /Yr.

- Highly Proficient with solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings.
- Highly Proficient knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (ANSYS) and understanding of application.
- Highly Proficient knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
- Highly Proficient knowledge of technical standards, manufacturing/fabrication methods, government/industry standards.
- Familiarity with and ability to apply MIL-STD-810 and J-STD-001.
