What does this role look like?
As a MBSE Systems Engineer you will:
Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly in an MBSE tool.
Coordinate with customer and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests, and record evidence in an MBSE tool.
Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation.
Organize/coordinate system level technical reviews.
Support all phases of the program lifecycle (development, production, and post production).
Build successful teams with internal stakeholders (engineering, ATLO, SEIT members of other segments) and external stakeholders (customer, external segment providers, USG organizations).
Be accountable to the Chief System Engineer for executing engineering efforts on schedule.
The successful candidate must also have ability to successfully collaborate with groups of engineering personnel, and be creative and dedicated to anticipating problems and issues before they happen in order to mitigate them and maintain schedule.
Important Details
Current or Active Top Secret clearance, thus ship is required.
A successful candidate will typically possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of related professional work experience
This role does not support teleworking and the selected candidate MUST be able to work onsite at our Littleton, CO campus.
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge or experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using CAMEO or similar tools
Experience with systems requirements, verification, development, management, and validation
Experience with the development and verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, thus ship is required
Desired skills
MBSE SME
Experience performing in a Systems Engineering role on a large and complex hardware and software development efforts
Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and critical thinking skills, translating ideas into actions and results
Demonstrated experience with development and delivery of space subsystems and components
Strong mission and end-to-end systems expertise

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
