Vice President of Engineering

This full-time leadership opportunity is with a rapidly growing SaaS organization serving the construction, facilities, and asset management space. The company is modernizing its platform with a cloud-native architecture, AI-driven development practices, and enterprise-scale web applications built on PHP/Laravel, Angular/TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, and microservices. The VP of Engineering will lead the technical organization while helping define the next generation of the platform and engineering culture.

This is an opportunity for a highly technical engineering leader who enjoys building teams, scaling organizations, and driving meaningful business outcomes through technology. You'll help shape how AI is leveraged across the software development lifecycle, guide architectural decisions, develop engineering leaders, and create the processes needed to support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate can balance strategic leadership with technical depth and thrives in high-autonomy environments where they can have a direct impact on both product direction and company success. Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading engineering teams and managers
• Experience scaling SaaS engineering organizations
• Strong background in software architecture and cloud-based applications
• Experience building and delivering enterprise software products
• Proven success developing engineering processes, teams, and leaders
• Experience partnering with product and executive leadership
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows within engineering organizations

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with PHP/Laravel, Angular/TypeScript, or similar modern application stacks
• Construction technology, facilities management, or related industry experience
• Cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience
• Experience leading platform modernization or digital transformation initiatives
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software development and agentic workflows
• Experience with enterprise integrations, security, and SaaS platforms
