Role Overview

The Auto Sales Application IT Tester leads quality assurance activities across Auto business applications and technology platforms. This position ensures software solutions meet functional, integration, performance, security, and business requirements prior to production deployment. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, architects, project managers, and vendors to support large-scale modernization initiatives and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• QA Leadership: Lead end-to-end testing across multiple projects and releases; define testing scope, strategies, plans, entry/exit criteria, and quality metrics.
• Functional & Integration Testing: Execute SIT, Regression, UAT support, and E2E testing across business workflows, calculations, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution; facilitate triage sessions and perform root-cause analysis.
• Test Automation & CI/CD: Design and implement automated testing frameworks and regression suites; integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance & Security Support: Coordinate performance, load, stress, and security/compliance testing initiatives.
• Governance & Reporting: Provide test status reports, quality metrics, risk assessments, and release readiness recommendations to leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, application testing, and enterprise-scale applications within Agile/hybrid environments.
• Core Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Functional, SIT, UAT, Regression, API, Database, and Performance testing.
• Tools & Technologies: .NET, Mainframe, Jira, ALM/Quality Center (or equivalent), SQL, and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, written/verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• QA Certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA).
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and cloud modernization projects.
• Background in automotive services.
