Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP GEF Specialist to provide strategic consulting and advisory services for an upcoming SAP upgrade initiative.

The consultant will guide the project team in defining the optimal upgrade strategy, assessing risks and dependencies, and establishing a robust data migration approach.

This is an advisory role focused on planning, architecture, best practices, and governance rather than hands-on system implementation

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure, implement, and support SAP GEF-related processes and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Basis, Security, Integration, and Development teams.
• Design and maintain SAP system architecture, workflows, and interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, and data standards.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, patches, and release management activities.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development activities.
• Conduct testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Provide user training and post-implementation support.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution activities.

 

 

Required Qualifications and Key Skills:

• 9+ years of SAP implementation and support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and data management.
• Understanding of SAP security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
