Radar Modeling Engineer | Huntsville, AL, United States | Hybrid | $69,550.00 - $125,725.00

This employer is a leading technology and industry provider focused on delivering innovative digital and mission solutions to government and commercial clients. They are seeking a motivated engineer to join a collaborative team working on cutting-edge defense intelligence and electronic warfare projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop sophisticated modeling and simulation software for complex foreign weapon systems.

The Role

  • Develop analytic to high-fidelity models of RF systems for EW analysis.
  • Integrate models into real-time and non-real-time simulation architectures.
  • Assess the impact of operator interactions on radar and missile weapon system simulations.
  • Create threat models that align with intelligence assessments, covering aspects like waveform scheduling, tracking, and signal processing.
  • Develop simulations and GUIs for both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Conduct testing, verification, and documentation of development efforts.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 2 years of relevant modeling and simulation experience.
  • Proficient background in C++ and/or object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of digital signal processing.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation systems.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB or Python, or other simulation tools.
  • Active SECRET level clearance (or higher) required.
