"Java Developer (AWS)" - Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based microservices, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices such as TDD/BDD.

Design and develop highly available and scalable applications using Java and modern design patterns.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and coverage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and architects.

Strong experience in Java development (Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices) and backend services.

Good Understanding on use of CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

Experience with GitHub and version control systems.

Experience with Artifact Repository Tools (Artifactory).

Strong knowledge of AWS Native.

Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda).

Strong knowledge of AWS services (EMR).

Strong knowledge of AWS services (Spark).

Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes (OCP preferred).

Strong experience in TDD (JUnit) and BDD (Cucumber).

Experience with Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

Infrastructure provisioning experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.

Understanding of messaging systems such as Kafka.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments.

Adaptability in working with business and technical teams.
