A specialist SEN school in Cranbrook is looking to appoint a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing environment where every day brings the chance to positively impact a young person's education and wellbeing. Whether you already have experience in an SEN setting or come from a background in youth work, care, coaching or support work, we'd love to hear from you. About

the Role

Support pupils with SEMH needs both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. Build positive relationships that help students develop confidence, resilience and independence. Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning to meet individual needs. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing using consistent support strategies. Work closely with teaching staff, therapists and pastoral teams to ensure pupils receive the best possible support. About You

Experience supporting children or young people is desirable, but not essential. A calm, empathetic and resilient approach to supporting pupils. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine interest in working within a specialist SEN environment. A willingness to learn and develop professionally. What the School Offers
