Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer now required to join a leading contractor with a focus on new buildings in the Education, Healthcare space.

They are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to grow within their company, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions. As a Structural Engineer you will be:

Designing and analysing structural steel and timber systems<br />Carrying out feasibility studies and site inspections, assessing structural integrity<br />Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to develop design concepts<br />Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents<br />Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards<br />Performing calculations and simulations to evaluate load-bearing capacitiesWe are looking for Structural Engineer with:

Qualified degree level in Structural or Civil Engineering<br />Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with expertise primarily in steel concrete and timber structures<br />Good knowledge of British standards and/or Eurocodes<br />Proven analytical and problem-solving skills<br />Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities<br />Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team<br />Professional accreditation with IStructE or ICE would be of particular benefitWhat's in it for you?
